Our Adoration Chapel is located at 1541 South 8th Street, Abilene, Texas 79602. It seats 32 people. It is located one block from the main church (Sacred Heart Church), where confessions are available each Saturday afternoon from 3:15 PM to 5:30 PM. The Adoration Chapel is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week (except when prohibited by Church norms - e.g., on Good Friday and Holy Saturday). The Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration all the time, except during the celebration of the Eucharist itself. The Chapel opened for adoration on June 29, 2000, and is available for anyone to come to pray - even those who are not Catholic - but principally Catholics of the city and surrounding area. Because we have experienced things being stolen from the main church we do not keep it open much during the week, except for services. But since we have the Adoration Chapel, people can come there to pray.
