This is the Cathedral Church of Kottayam Archdiocese built and consecrated on October 1944.
A famous statue of Our Lady of Fathima is located in this cathedral. Pope John Paul II visited this Cathedral on February 8, I986. A perpetual adoration chapel is also opened in 2011.
