Established in 1822. St. Paul’s is the mother church of the Archdiocese of Toronto. The first St. Paul’s, of red brick and Gothic style, was completed in 1824. After the diocese was created in 1841, Bishop Michael Power used St. Paul’s as his cathedral until the completion of the construction of St. Michael’s Cathedral in 1848.

Weekday masses are at the Good Shepherd Centre (412 Queen St E, opposite the Church, on the north side of Queen St.)
Hours for Confession
Saturdays 3:45 to 4:15 p.m., and other times by appointment.
