Opening of the "Holy Door of Charity"

On Friday, 18 December, the Holy Father carried out the symbolic gesture of opening a Door of Mercy at the “Don Luigi Di Liegro” Hostel, run by Caritas of Rome in Via Marsala, which, for 25 years, has welcomed persons in great difficulty in need of help. This action by the Holy Father inaugurated the “signs” that he will carry out one Friday each month as an expression of the Works of Mercy.
