The parish church of St. Peter the Apostle in Kansas City, Kansas was elevated to become the diocesan cathedral in 1947 when the diocesan see was transferred from Leavenworth to Kansas City. In 1952, the Diocese of Kansas City in Kansas was elevated to an archdiocese, the metropolitan see of the Province of Kansas.

Times of Liturgical Celebrations
Sunday Mass is celebrated at 4:00 p.m. (anticipated on Saturday), 9:00 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:45 p.m. (in Spanish) and 5:00 p.m.
Hours for Confession
Saturdays from 3:00-3:45 p.m. or by appointment.
