Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer
Diocese of Corner Brook and Labrador
In 1946 the seat of the diocese was transferred to Corner Brook. The Cathedral was opened and blessed in 1956. The first church in the diocese, which served as pro-cathedral for a time, was called the Immaculate Conception and to honour that, the official name is the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer and of the Immaculate Conception.
