The Church of Epiphany in Venice, Fla., was founded as a mission of St. Martha Church in Sarasota in 1935. The parish was established in 1950 and the current Church was dedicated in 1980. When St. Pope John Paul II established the new Diocese of Venice in Florida in 1984, the Church of the Epiphany was elevated to Epiphany Cathedral.
